I hope this understanding of water consumption becomes more public knowledge because it is currently the laziest "attack" on AI. I greatly appreciate your take on it here. (I also have a 15 year old and we have similar conversations. It's amazing to see them becoming adult thinkers.) Also, as a result of your YT video of books you recommend, I read The Machine Stops and decided to use it as one of two texts in the college Comp I class I'm teaching this semester. Because I'm teaching an asynchronous, online Comp I at a community college, where so many students use generative AI for all their work, I figure let's get the elephant in the room, look at it together, and talk about it.
