I knew a post about Dog Man was going to spark some capital-C Conversation (and, to be honest, I was bracing myself for someone, or multiple someones, to be defensive if not outright mad) but I’m a little taken aback by how much y’all love Dog Man and Dav Pilkey.

If you still have complicated feelings about Dog Man, please read the comments on this post that say, over and over, “The Dog Man books made my kid a reader” and then go forth and embrace the pleasure of loving what we love without apology.
