To be fair— it’s really rare when people show me good music that I’m actually interested in and can bond over.

There are maybe 3-4 people I connect with about my specific taste/range and introduce me to things I’ll actually like.

Usually people are like “hey listen to this— you’re going to love it” and I try really hard not to snub my nose at them and say “cool, yeah!”

I’m not generous with my music appreciation hand outs. Ask my ex-husband. He gave me a lot of shit for this character trait.
