Lately I‘ve been asking myself, “What if I based life on curiosity?” I hear so much about modes of operating, like “monk mode” where people buckle down and churn out work.

This doesn’t call to me at all. I’d rather live in governess mode, where we wander in fields and follow the smells or in bookshops selecting a book at random to see what it might tell us.
