Years ago, I had a student who went to visit his grandparents in Mexico City for Christmas. It was his first time there. He didn't come back. His body was found months later in a mass grave just outside of Mexico City. This was not a kid to get involved with drugs. I think it was a wrong place/wrong time situation and he got caught up in whatever went down. His parents were devastated and blamed themselves for going back to visit. I had not heard about the 43 missing, but I will buy the book today. Thanks for enlightening me!
