Happy new year, Substack. Feeling cheery, then step this way….and take my hand as we take a journey into information dystopia. It would be less bleak if I weren’t also fighting to stop the Guardian from blowing itself up in an ill-conceived deal that it’s gone to war with its journalists to defend. Anyway, thems the breaks.
