Once upon a time, the people picked up their paintbrushes, their sewing needles and thread, their soft willow for basket weaving, and they started to craft. It was just now and again at first. But then it started to happen every day. And before long it became a way of life, a cultural practice. And the people became well again. And they went out into nature and learned the names of the flowers, plants, trees, mushrooms, birds and all the other wild gifts of our living, breathing, throbbing world. And they were well.
