Stop crying on the internet Here’s what you’ve been sold: Authenticity = sharing everything. The rawer, the better. The more vulnerable, the more relatable. Show them you’re human! Let them in! Share your struggles so they know you get it! You’ve been told that’s what makes people trust you. That vulnerability equals value. That if you show the wound, they’ll buy the healing. Sounds delightful. Also? Completely backwards if you’re selling transformation. Because here’s the thing high-end personal brands understand that coaches don’t yet: People don’t want to be IN the mess with you. They want to feel SAFE with you. They’re not hiring you to empathise. They’re hiring you to show them the way and lead them out.
