My son Jack has autism. He twenty-one, and he lives in a supported community.

He ironed a dress shirt. He studied YouTube videos on how to tie a tie. He put on a suit, and went to a dance.

A dance.

If you had told me even five years ago this was possible, I never would have believed you.

Autism: the moment where you stand will not last forever.

Good things are ahead. They may look different, but they are good.
