Last night, I had a truly memorable dinner in Tokyo. My Japanese friends recommended a sushi restaurant that was just a 10-minute walk from my hotel, nestled in a quiet neighbourhood. The restaurant was run by a sweet couple who were incredibly welcoming and friendly and they even tried to speak English for me. The chef had a great sense of humour, and despite our language barrier, he managed understand me and served me the best sushi I’ve ever had. I left feeling full and happy, and this kind of hospitality is rare to come by, but it’s truly special when you experience it. I’ll always remember that meal 💙
