On a very hot day, I was gifted some Shiso when I was eating lunch at my favourite Japanese restaurant. The owner, Yuki, told me to make pesto with it and it is delicious. It kind of tastes like basil, but softer with hints of mint. I used the recipe from my second cookbook, which I’ll have more of in stock soon 💙
