Yeah. ☺️ I held the first draft of the manuscript in my hands yesterday.

“Are we going to publish?”

Yeah. You know people who can help you self-publish, and you’ve even spoken to several publishers. They’re all interested in it.

“So someone picked it up?”

Not yet. You’re a bit in your head about the story and all the work that still needs to be done… and you’re scared, because now it’s real. And if it’s real, you can fail.

“But if you don’t try, you’ve already failed.”

True.

“Is it bad?”

No, it’s actually very good. It might be the thing I’m most proud of.

“Then keep going. You’ve already gone further than I ever thought was possible”
