I’m drafting a two-part series on Psalm 137:9: “Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks” (NRSVUE).

Planning to propose two different readings—one you may have heard before and one you probably haven’t—over the course of two weeks.

Anyone have any favorite resources on Psalm 137, or imprecatory psalms, or psalms of lament? Academic sources that I might have missed, really good Substack articles, a killer sermon (preferably with a good written transcript)?
