God did not change between the days of Abraham and the birth of Jesus. The people of God have always been called to love of God and love of neighbor.

One must not follow the path of demons. Instead, truly believing that God is one requires one to contribute to light, order, and the building up of others in love. In other words, LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR.
