In my old corporate job, I challenged myself to take a meeting with one of the more obnoxious senior leaders and only say “yeah,” “right,” or nod my head to keep the conversation going. I thought for sure it wouldn’t work, surely this man would ask me one question during the half hour and I’d have to say something else. Surely he couldn’t monologue for thirty straight minutes. Well: I was wrong. We breezed through it, and at the end he even thanked me for a “great meeting.” Anyway it’s a fun game to try if you're bored at work
