This has been an amazing few weeks. I have to say that things are worse than I expected them to be. As the son of a man who fought facism in World War 2 and then the Soviet Union for the rest of his life, I can’t get over the fact that he would not recognize the country we are today. I remember well a conversation we had over 20 years ago about Putin where I asked him about his thoughts about the new Russian leader. His response was that he was an expert in disinformation and that we could expect him to do everything he could to create misinformation in our country. He would truly be aghast to see how well Putin has succeeded. I think many of the baby boomers parents would be deeply upset about what is occurring today. We, baby boomers, need to wake up and do all we can to prevent our nation from becoming like Russia or Hungry. I am not sure exactly what we need to do but I would be happy to work with others who feel the same way. Let’s do something!
