Happy Saturday, gremlins! 🤍

Story time: I legit thought I would die last night. I took a muscle relaxant, as prescribed by the ER doctor, and I woke up at midnight with a cramped neck and full-body aches. It was so intense, I was lamenting like a dying goat. I will NOT repeat the experience tonight. It was so painful that I considered taking the morphine they also prescribed. I settled for something less overkill—acetaminophen—and was able to fall back asleep after an hour of wailing and pleading with my cat to end me. I would not recommend cyclobenzaprine.

On a more positive note, I finished writing chapter 7 of These Violences We Crave. I’m making really good progress, and I’m very excited to share this story! I think it’s going to be quite the wild ride.

But today, this grandma is going to stay in. I planned on going out, but I’ve been hit by a chemical truck, so I think I’ll just do some light creative stuff.
