I’ve just discovered this cheerfully earnest poster (Our Allies Need Eggs; Your Farm Can Help!) by the Bauhaus graphic designer and teacher Herbert Bayer. It was created in 1942, as part of his work with the NYC Works Progress Administration, to help with the WWII effort.
