Unpopular opinion ?

I prefer reading on a kindle.

The “e ink” screen and backlight make it great in bright sun, at night, easy on eyes, no book light or lamp needed…

I can carry hundreds of books in my backpack…

Easier to hold with one hand, no “thumb in middle” to hold pages open…

I can easially search my highlights and notes…

All my highlights and notes sync to the app on my iPhone and iPad…

From the app, I can copy and paste quotes (to Substack 😊)…

Chrome “send to kindle” is a great way to save webpage content to read later…

Sending pdfs to kindle is super simple…

I do still like books too, but find myself ordering kindle editions more than print lately 🤓
