Make money doing the work you believe in

The success of authoritarian political movements doesn’t seem to be related to economic factors nor does it correlate directly with influxes of immigrants. Given the lack of objectively measurable causes, Tibor Rutar speculates that these movements are the product of propaganda and I am inclined to agree. Francis Fukuyama recently posted an essay in which he made the same claim. It seems clear that misleading information is a direct threat to civil liberty and democracy. The ideal of unfettered free speech seems both impossible to achieve and unwise to attempt. We need some safeguards against B.S.
