I have two simple questions that tell me whether someone is a threat to me and mine:

What is your position on infanticide and what is your position on private weapons ownership?

If you are willing to murder the most innocent and vulnerable of human life, once alive you will be even worse to free range humans and if you wish to strip the potential victims of self defense, you are a clear and present danger to me and mine.

It has been a very accurate baseline framing for me for potential threats.
