DOGE will be the death of “Time & Materials” and “Cost Plus” contracts inside the US Government.

The private sector, when it sells to other companies in the private sector, has to live up to performance obligations for work done (“RPO”). But that same company sells Time & Materials to the US Government. Ridiculous.

End the charade now.

Every contract sold into the US Government should be tied to performance obligations. Not some kindergarten equivalent of “I’ll try my best.”
