My apartment building in Austin is about to get their own feature Post on my Substack.
Here is the list of issues I’ve incurred with no remedy/compensation since moving in:
No wifi
No power
Broken fridge
No garbage disposal
Two broken washing machines flooding my unit
No elevator for 1 month (I live on the 18th floor)
No water for an entire weekend
Going on 1 month without hot water and limited hot water
And now, my fridge is not working again, and my freezer door is stuck open, so not only is my apartment an icebox, but there isn’t even hot water
Dude, what is this? Texas needs better auditing of businesses. I’m paying premium for a “luxury” unit and was sold by their “eco-friendly” energy use and “community”.
We have a yoga studio with no instructors and I saw Domino’s ordered for residents once. Our best perk is 10% off cocktails on Wednesdays at a local (10 blocks away) dive bar. (?)
