Finding a new rhythm later in life can be daunting. What will I do all day? Who am I now? What will people think?
Being invisible for most of my life as a girl in a part European family. A woman in the workforce. A woman without children. A woman in her early sixties. A woman who no longer has the role as a child. A woman who is estranged from her family.
But I have the most incredible partner.
Yet, there is freedom in being invisible. I am fully embracing it as I am loving leading life on my own terms creating my own ‘rules’ or lack of rules. Furthermore, we are not invisible to each other.
And having messy greying hair!
Liberation.
