A Threshold: Welcome to The Shed Studio Creative
Over the past several months, I’ve been in a deep dive—rethinking how all the threads of my work actually belong together.
Writing. Making. Ritual practice. Creative recovery. Design. Consulting.
For the better part of a decade, this work has lived under the name NOVEL atelier. It held a wide and necessary container—one that allowed me to explore everything from the Steampunk Tarot collection to upcycled garments, handmade and digital dolls, and eventually, a return to writing more seriously.
That name served me. It gave me room to experiment without needing everything to make perfect sense.
But over the past few years, something has shifted.
My work has deepened—into ritual, into daily practice, into creative recovery as a lived and shared experience. I’ve completed longer writing projects. I’ve developed frameworks for transformation. I’ve come into a clearer understanding of what I’m actually building.
And with that clarity comes a necessary change.
I’ve been asking: What is the next decade of my creative life meant to hold? What wants to be built, not just explored?
Out of that inquiry, something simple and grounded emerged.
The Shed Studio Creative.
A place to: • practice • make • refine • shed what no longer fits • build something more honest in its place
This is not a departure from what I’ve done—it's a distillation of it.
You’ll begin to see this shift reflected across my work, including my Etsy shop, offerings, and future writing.
Thank you for being here through all the iterations, experiments, and evolutions. This next chapter feels clearer, steadier, and more aligned than anything that’s come before.
Welcome to The Shed.
