Lastly, here’s a comparison (indexed to 100 = 5 Sep 2007) of the GSCI Light Energy Spot Index, the equal-weighted basket of commodity equity sector ETFs (as outlined above), the commodity futures ETF DBC —— AND: a 50/50 portfolio of the commodity equities basket + commodity futures ETF… which seems to provide the closest tracking for the longest portion of the period looked at here.
