My politics aren’t online because my views shift over the course of a year as I learn more, research new information, and reconsider what I thought I knew. They are not fixed positions but evolving ones.

If we lived in an internet culture that valued intellectual evolution over public shaming, I would be willing to take people along on that process with me. But we don’t.
