Sitting down with a bride to “pitch” your work can be intimidating for a new photographer or even one that hates selling.

Try this - Gather your photos, sit down and ask the bride to tell you about her wedding. Dig into things she lights up about. Let her set the pace.

Your job as a photographer is NOT to be some celebrity.

You’re there to serve your bride and help make her day perfect.

At some point, you’ll get to show your goods, but your goal is to be the best listener and advocate for her by that time, that your work is already loved (they do make those website, ya know).
