I think we all take inspiration from lots of fellow creatives.

For me, as a photographer, I came across this poster for the NYC Ballet in 2000 by Rodney Smith and it moved me. So much that I bought a print of it (I rarely do do this)

Elegant lines, a voyeuristic vibe, and then the eye contact.
