This novel has a main subplot focused on an elite girls school in Sydney. But caveat lector it has mature themes and beneath the surface narrative is saturated in classical allusions and Christology. The final chapter is a combination of Hector’s funeral from the Iliad and an epiphany (revealing the true Prince Among Men).
