In the late 1990s, a group of Swedish artists out of Cheiron Studios in Stockholm fundamentally changed how pop songs are written. After the death of their leader Denniz PoP, Max Martin took over the studio. He’s written more number one hits than everyone other than Paul McCartney. Do you think Martin and his colleagues have been good or bad for pop music?
