I was listening to Joan Jett today and was shocked to learn that the final track on her sophomore record is “Little Drummer Boy.” Who closes a non-holiday album with a holiday song?? I came to learn that the record came out around Christmas, so they decided to put a Christmas song on it. Later pressings replaced “Little Drummer Boy” with “Oh Woe Is Me.” Was this common? I’ve never heard of anyone else trying this.
