NEWS: The U.S. Supreme Court granted review in three new cases on Monday morning, including a big case over the constitutionality of the federal law barring gun possession by a person who “is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance.”

The other cases address arbitration and bankruptcy law.

The court also put off deciding whether Little v. Hecox is moot — as lawyers for Lindsay Hecox, the trans student in the case, have urged — until after oral arguments. (This is one of two cases over anti-trans sports bans. This case is out of Idaho; the other is out of West Virginia.)
