LAW DORK UPATE: The March and April SCOTUS argument sittings (March 18-20 and 25-27 and April 15-17 and 22-25) have a number of high-profile cases, including the mifepristone and EMTALA abortion-related cases, the case over the Biden administration's efforts to influence social media companies' decisions, and — on that last argument date — Trump's immunity case. These are cases that I have been covering regularly at Law Dork as they have worked their way up the legal system, and I’ll be at the U.S. Supreme Court to cover the arguments now that they’re coming before the justices.
I will be providing significant coverage of these cases, as well as shadow docket developments, at Law Dork. I will also try to keep up with major developments in Law Dork's areas of coverage that happen elsewhere, but we're getting into a period of intense and important SCOTUS happenings — and we’re still months away from June and the rush of big decisions.
For now, I am spending some time this weekend thinking about and preparing my coverage plans for these two months. (Please, reach out if you have thoughts.) I look forward to bringing you incisive, helpful, independent coverage of this important period.
To support my coverage, there are lots of things you can do: Subscribe to Law Dork, share this note (and my reporting as it happens), consider a paid subscription if you can afford it, and — for bookers, producers, and hosts — bring me on your podcasts, radio programs, and TV shows to discuss these cases and my coverage.
Thanks, and have a good weekend, all!
