BREAKING: Eight current or prospective service members who are transgender sued the Trump administration on Tuesday over President Donald Trump's Monday anti-trans military executive order.
The lawsuit was filed in federal court in Washington, D.C., and the plaintiffs are seeking an injunction blocking the executive order as violating the equal protection of the laws.
The plaintiffs in this lawsuit are being represented by GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders, National Center for Lesbian Rights, and Joe Wardenski.
Last night, Lambda Legal and the Human Rights Campaign also promised a lawsuit.
