At Law Dork, I cover the legal stories of the day. Beginning 11 days ago, Donald Trump has made sure that he is the legal story of the day — by continually issuing orders of questionable legality and constitutionality and seeking to hobble wide swaths of the federal government.
Don’t worry, I am still covering the Supreme Court and lower court action, as always. The Trump administration is, however, a big part of the legal story today — and will continue to be — and I will be on it. (Plus, as to right now, SCOTUS is not back for arguments until Feb. 24, so I am able to give these new stories the attention they deserve in this moment.)
Here's a bit more about what that means — and what I need.
If you haven’t subscribed to Law Dork, subscribe now. Get on the list so that you will be able to keep up with my reporting. There is a free option because I want my reporting to be accessible to all.
If you can support my work with a paid subscription, please do so. I run Law Dork completely on individual subscriptions — and I need funding to ensure that I will be able to continue and to do so in whatever way the moment requires.
If you have information about the stories I cover — including changes being made in the operation of the federal government, with an emphasis on those changes harming civil rights and vulnerable communities, and related litigation — reach out. My Signal is in my bio.
