Great photo challenge

!

3 years ago I decided to get into "Organic Gardening", which was quite an interesting change of activity considering that I am a tech geek.

But what was started as a 'side hobby', it has become a passion project that turned out to be very rewarding one.

Not only that my family now can enjoy fresh and organic vegetables and fruits but the whole process itself has been really therapeutic, physically and mentally.

Imagine about being able to escape from your daily routine and get immersed in something as mundane as pulling weeds off your garden beds. It's been relaxing. Especially during the time of the Covid lockdown, it's been a God-send, speaking about mental well-being.

It’s also great activity to do it with my children who have been helping all they way.

Just to give you a 'taste' - no pun intended - of what I harvested so far:

Vegetables: Garlic, Onion, Tomato, Cucumber, Paprika, Chilli, Melon, Courgette, Parsley, Carrot, Radish.

Fruits: Bluberry, Blackberry, Raspberry, Strawberry, Cherry, Plum, Apple, Grape.

I am also making my own compost so most of our food wastes go to the compost bin, which then is used to plant the next season's vegs. It's a circle of life :)
