This week I’m writing about (celebrity) pregnancy as a litmus test for reproductive freedom. The Cardi B discourse has got pretty alarming very fast. It’s clear that we only embrace certain pregnancies, that follow a certain sequence (marriage, then baby), there’s an ideal number of children (2) and an ideal pregnancy body. Very few women fit the narrow image we have of an ideal pregnancy. It’s pretty sinister.
