Thank you for the insight! You summarized that feeling so succinctly.
So true that it *feels* easier to follow the minutiae of daily tasks instead of carving out focus time.
There's something satisfying about making three or seven or thirteen check marks from day-to-day. It *seems* simpler (at first glance) to stay on the surface level of life.
But to move past the day-to-day maintenance work and sink deeply . . . into what we most want to create . . . well, that's scary.
Oh, but honestly, *your* deep creativity is so beautiful, Carla. I'm lucky to have seen it and be awed by it. I know you'll stay close to it.
I love this thought and it’s just what I needed. I am the tasky-est tasker and measure my productivity by the checks on my to do list. Bleh! And struggle to find flow and productivity where it really matters, because that’s *harder* than letting minutiae carry you through the day.
