This morning at 6AM (European team!) my team and I pitched a term sheet to our board for executive approval and now, at noon, I’m about to head into my son’s class to make origami basketball hoops with 16 second graders.

An example of the work-life integration I am striving for.

Boundaries or a rigid set of rules about what I will or won’t do haven’t gotten me here but being laser-clear on what I actually need and want and then delivering excellent work to pave the way to the opportunity, flexibility and autonomy that I want has gotten me here.
