Make money doing the work you believe in

What I liked most about Touching Grass is how honest it feels. Rachita Taneja takes everyday exhaustion, overthinking, constant bad news, and the feeling of being emotionally drained, and turns it into something deeply relatable.

Through her simple illustrations and sharp observations, she captures the strange experience of trying to stay aware of the world without feeling completely overwhelmed by it. The book talks about fear, anxiety, inequality, climate concerns, and the quiet burnout many of us carry without really talking about it.

The simplicity of the artwork is what makes it work so well. There is nothing distracting you from the message. Every panel feels direct, clear, and sometimes uncomfortably true. I also liked the idea behind the title. Touching Grass becomes less of a phrase and more of a reminder, to pause, step away from the noise, reconnect with real life, and remember that hope still exists in people and community.

This is not just a light read, but it a necessary one. It leaves you thinking, and somehow still hopeful by the end.
