⬆️Why are they masked? Do NOT cooperate with them. Defund The Abuse, no more tax paying dollars to pay for hate! NO policy in the USA should be based upon hate and racism.
Our Indivisible chapter is providing "immigrant red cards" to hand out to our Spanish speaking immigrant community. They are business-card-sized and professionally-printed on red cardstock, with rounded corners and laminated. Hence the name "red card".
See ilrc.org/red-cards-tarj….
They are currently availble in 42 languages (including English so you know what you are handing out). As a non-profit, I believe we get a specified quantity for free each month, but there is a mechanism for individuals to order them at cost or you can print your own from files provided.
On one side is an explanation in Spanish (or their selected language) about our constitutional rights. On the reverse side, is an English script that the immigrant gives/shows to the person demanding to see their papers, sign a document etc. For example, it states in part:
"I do not wish to speak with you, answer your questions, or sign or hand you any documents based on my 5th Amendment rights under the United States Constitution".
