The app for independent voices

⬆️"We cannot have a repeat of 2024 where huge numbers stayed away from the voting booths, and by default, elected trump."

The best ways to get people to the polls is through conversations with people they know and respect (i.e., relational organizing) or through what is called deep canvassing where the volunteers who are canvassing spend more time listening than promoting a specific candidate. (in many cases this starts before the Primaries, so the Democratic candidate may be unknown at that point. The audience is much broader too - including voters who may not have voted for Democrats before.

Indivisible (indivisble.org) does relational organizing under the banner "Neighbor2Neighbor" and Red Wine and Blue (redwine.blue) as "Rally Your Squad".

There are also versions of persuasion postcards - Activate America (activateamerica.vote) has "accountability campaigns" in districts with a GOP incumbent early in the election year and then switches to GOTV postcards closer to the election.

Postcards to Swing States (turnoutpac.org/postcards) volunteers are currently writing persuasion postcards with their News Boosting campaigns in GA, IA, ME, MI, and NC. Later in the spring they will have their traditional write-and-hold GOTV postcard campaigns in a wider variety of swing states and districts.
