There is also a plan to modify the rules about Voter ID exception forms. Currently, a voter's ID exception form can only be rejected if all 5 members of the county BoE reject it. The proposed rule change would change this to the majority of the members. Since the state legislature already messed with the composition of the BoE, this would mean that the 3 GOP members could agree and reject any ID exception form. There is currently a public comment period through July 14th.
