I saw a clip of none other than CNN's Jake Tapper, insisting that Biden and Democrats needed to move towards budget cuts to meet McCarthy's demands and avoid default. A Robert Reich Substack post from last week covered the false equivalency of a recent NYT piece, which suggested that Democrats and Republicans are equally responsible for the amount of the country's massive debt. How can Joe's approval numbers improve when the 'friendly' news outlets are pushing the same bad information and flawed perspective as the hostile rags? Add inflation coverage, employment data, economic strength, improved wages of working people, rapid reversal of vaccine rollout failure and Federal pandemic misinformation, to a host of other topics where the news coverage of the Biden administration's accomplishments are covered with a negative slant and tone, then shake and pour.
