A CONFESSION

✨🌳

These are some snaps from an INCREDIBLE work day organising a forum for Culture’s influence on Climate Hope in North East England.

I’ve been incredibly privileged to have a 20+ freelance career in the cultural sector but in forcing it to work (especially recently) I’m honestly SO tired!

It was brilliant to hear from

who talked us into a visualisation of what we consider most important to us within the container of the most beautiful space we know in our local area.

It gave me the hope that although I’ve had to spin a lot of plates to take care of finances due to my husband’s health, there is STILL simplicity to be found in “my why”.

It’s for the kids, not just mine for all of them and for the places we’ve taken for granted for too long - the spaces in nature that offer us healing and solace and magic all at once. I’m listening and we’re learning and we can do things differently.

The space I visualised IRL is akin to the online space of Substack - it’s quiet and not many folks know of it yet.

In the case of my special faerie falls waterfall - it’s ancient and hold space the way only ancient spaces can.

Right here on Substack there’s so much space and a special new hope for creatives and art for good along with conversations and connections to inspire hope.

Are you with me?!
