Well, there’s a dearth of male fiction (or whatever, so they say) so I write about contemporary boy shit. Playing video games, bro love, the confusing and ephemeral figuring out of women, men who cry, your friend’s mom, doing drugs for the first time, finding your career and male mental health.

That’s what’s in my novel, anyway.
