Orlaya grandiflora grows wild in the meadows of Tuscany and elsewhere in southern Europe, its white lacy flowers weaving in with other wildflowers. This year it’s self seeded in my garden in the grass under the willow tree as well as in the borders - a measure of how mild the winter has been this year.
