Writing a book is one thing. A big thing.

But writing is just one aspect.

We don't talk about the mixed bag of mental anguish, celeberation, relief and emotional maturity that a manuscript leaves us with.

The depth of self reflection, judgement, shame, and also epiphany.

Uncomfortable, awkward conversations and old patterns and triggers.

Recognition of achievement.

Now begins the next layer for making this project successful. Editing.

Sharing the journey, sharing the process, story and lessons.

Connecting with other writers.

Courage to reach out for feedback & support.

The journey of the book, as it unfolds. Insights, thoughts, inspired and awkward moments.

My next deadline is Equinox, March 21, when I’ll have my own edits done.

Ish. I think. No, defo.

Then I'll be launching Advanced Review Copies (ARC) for a selected circle of friends which is really very scary and very exciting.

Is there even a right way to do this anymore for those of us who do what we want?!
