Reading your post I was reminded that there is a book of the Bible, one of the Gospels, where the author many times calls out "The Jews" for their activities. Running a search for those words against the gospels, it obviously is the Gospel of John,

This is interesting, because the author, John, was a Jew, and the object of "The Jews'" hate was a Jew, Jesus. This tells me to look a little deeper at what words are used, and how they are being used, although I'm not terribly well versed in the Greek and I could easily be missing something, and I am time-constrained and not checking extensively against what those who are well versed have to say.

In the earlier parts of John the words used are predominantly οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι, which is nominative case, the grammatical subject.

In the latter parts the word choices shift to τοὺς Ἰουδαίους (accusative -- direct object), τοῖς Ἰουδαίοις (dative - indirect object), and τῶν Ἰουδαίων (genetive - possessive). It's still the same two words, but in more widely varying cases corresponding to how the words are used. In all cases the usage is arthrous -- appearing with the article, translated "The", "to The", or "of The" depending upon case, and the words are understood together to represent a proper name and thus "The Jews" rather than "the Jews".

Without going into details about English vs. Greek articles, when I look at all of the above together, I see John referring for the most part to a specific group of Jews, although what constitutes that group can only be seen in the context of each reference. Looking through the references, the hateful ones were among the Jewish leaders / authority figures, not the Jews in general.

The descendants of these people are still around, causing all manner of trouble. They remain "authority figures". Some of my part-Jewish friends are related to some of those present-day people, although as cousins, not as direct descendants. But by way of those relationships I have had the opportunity to privately meet and talk with a small number of those cousins, people among those at the highest levels of our government, and while they were kind and hospitable, I can see major potential implications.

I cannot know with certainty their beliefs or motivations, or whether they have acted under coercion. I do know something of their genealogy and when and how their ancestors came to live in this country, and it fits a particular pattern -- precisely.

Oy Vey! Those Poor, Innocent Jews! Such a Terrible Thing That People on Substack are Telling The Truth About Jews and Pointing Out Lies About the Non-existent Jewish Holohoax!
